“I’m always nervous with needles and meeting a new practitioner. You just never know how they’ll be; are they desensitized to needles and would they understand my awkwardness? To make it worse, I was late after a severe train delay.
So I turned up to the salon all flustered and panicked, Dr Saetta instantly greeted me with a big smile and warm welcome. Aaaaahhh a sense of ease!! I felt. She asked what we having done today? I looked at her with confusion and said I don’t know but I want more boost in my face and worried about my hollow eyes. She again reassured me and said “we will sit down and talk about everything”. I added, I want fuller lips but scared of the swelling previous practitioners had left me bruised. She put the numbing cream on and said have a little think while the cream activates and we’ll have a consultation.
The consultation: she sits me down on her treatment chair rolls the chair back and raised the foot stall. Places a mirror in my hand and asks me to look in the mirror whilst she listens to my concerns and i explain what i want to achieve.
I can honesty say that Dr Saetta was very professional and gave me her best professional advice based on what I wanted to achieve and my concerns of it not looking natural. She was unbiased and did not base her advice on opinions. She even went on to tell me that I should consider less product than I had asked for as in one session it may appear too much too soon.
I felt that Dr Saetta provided a catered service and more so with a kind and caring personality. She had made me feel cared for, relaxed me with reassuring words and was very tolerant of my clenched body every time I had felt the needle. I decided to keep my eyes closed and at one point I totally forgot where I was so I look up and there’s Dr Saetta. All done! She says with a smile.
Just like the hairdressers, I left feeling wonderful & confident, barely noticing the swelling and do you know what… no bruising! A true craftsmanship, that’s what I thought. Dr was very kind and she even told me to take my time and to only leave the salon when I’m fully ready. I stared at myself through the big salon mirrors thinking when will the bruising start, maybe it takes a while. I mean my lips where a little swollen but nothing like the times before.
I am truly grateful for the time and effort you have taken on understanding my needs and to cater a treatment plan specifically to my wants. You are truly a beautiful, talented charismatic women who deserves great blessing for the work you do, the kindness you provide to your clients and mostly the your integrity.
